Power cord loses power

I'm having problems with lg stylo3 that when I connect the power cord to charge it the power cord stops working until I unplug it the cord lights up and I tried a different power cord with no luck

If the cords won't work when connected to the device there is a.) a problem with your charging port on the phone b.) the battery on the phone needs replacing or c.) there is a hardware issue that needs to be resolved.

If the phone is under warranty, I would contact the manufacturer.
