Maybe the superdome was using inefficient equipment, and by this time next year the nfl will purchase 80 plus platinum PSUs, led light bulbs, and maybe a sound turbine generator (when crowds cheer, the sound shock wave from the crowd will move the blades on top of the stadium).

Let's face it, they had to send someone with a certified check over to the Utilities company to make their payment plus late charge and penalties :)

Considering that any device man made is technology. This does count as tech news. Even a sharpened stick is technology.

[citation][nom]danwat1234[/nom]I don't get why they had to stop playing, the field was still lit up fine. Maybe it was because sponsor banner ad screens were off or something.[/citation]

They stopped playing because they didn't have a working scoreboard.

Alidan once again, talking out his rear like it's factual for ALL cable companies. $80 basic cable? Shit son I can get 260 channels free HD, with the sports channels for only $50 a month If that.

Then theirs my bundle price. I have cell phone, home phone, internet, and 3 digital cable boxes, all the movie channels FREE HD channels. I'd pay for a DVR but I use my PC as a quad Channel DVR. For only $180 month, yes it may seen high but my cell phone bill alone was $60 from Verizon on it's own. Then my internet at $40. Then all the other works for a measily $60. All you have to do with cox is call them and complain about the prices say your gonna leave for dish, and they give you mad discounts for up to a few years each time. Had them for over 15 years.

it probably depends greatly if you can pick and chose channels you get.
for us here, basic cable is about 90 box cable is about 120, box with hd is 125, and for us, the part that costs the most is the sports.

you get that good a service for that cheap you are lucky, but in the minority.
