problem boot of old hp elitebook 8440p

i bought the old hp elitebook 8440p
used from Germany
when I first open it it showed the screen in the photo included
i disconnected the hdd it was unallocted and I repartitioned it
and reconnected it again to the laptop
but it freezes on the same screen in the photo

i tried boot from hiren's cd and it worked fine
and mini windows xp worked fine
