Problem casting video from andriod phone to laptop

Hi everyone, I have watched videos and taught myself how to "cast" my cell phones screen to my laptops screen so I could watch the netflix shows my cell has downloaded on it on the big screen (my laptop) while on lunch break at work.

I am not the greatest with these kind of things and it took me two plus hours of messing around and I finally got my phone to cast in great quality to my laptop! I can even watch youtube videos on my phone and have them show up on the laptop.

The problem is when I try to watch the downloaded netflix tv shows they do not cast to my laptop??? I cannot find out why it will not work, I have looked through all the settings and tried everything.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Its really important to me and I will sincerely apperciate any help I can get.

If I remember correctly, it is something Netflix has restricted. I can't say if there is a work around, I just remember asking about it and being told they made it not possible to do.

That really sucks, I had no idea but when I looked that up to confirm what you said it's true....They just lost a customer of over two years....thanks for letting me know.
