Problem: don't show laptop icons when I connect it to a 4K tv through hdmi

Hello I have just bought a Samsung 4K smart tv UE49MU6402, I try to connect my laptop through hdmi , I can see the image but no icons appeared and when I open browser doesn't show it to tv. If I connect through screen mirror it's all ok. What's maybe the problem?

You need to set the TV as the main monitor or move the windows from the laptop screen to the TV.

But the laptop screen is appear at the tv , the icons at the desktop doesn't appear, and if I open for example google or other application it seems open but doesn't let me to maximize it in order to see it

Are you duplicating or extending the screens? Do you see the icons and programs on the laptop screen but not on the TV? What is the resolution set on the laptop for the TV set to? Is it on the 4k resolution? You can check for newer video drivers from the laptop support site.
