Problem with booting MS Outlook

I'm not savvy with tech so need simple answers. I've used Windos 2010 Outook for email and calendar for years. Yesterday I was able to get access; today I can't. It's possible I selected an option I shouldn't have. Note that I am able to boot Word, XL & PPT. This is critical for my work. I'd appreciate advice or referral to another location for advice. Thanks very much.

Please post any error messages you see when attempting to start Outlook, as otherwise we've no idea where to start.

You might also want to run Office Diagnostics:

Open any Office application.
From the menu-bar at the top, choose Help >> Office Diagnostics

As a last resort (if diagnostics doesn't help) re-install Outlook..

Problem solved. Thanks, Phillip for your reply. I had a local tech enter my laptop remotely and reset my display options. What a relief!
