Problem with Hifi Man HE-300

I received a Hifi Man HE-300 headphones for Christmas in 2013. After about 6 months I lost sound in the right headphone. Thinking it was a cable issue I bought the Crystalline Balanced cable hoping it would resolve the issue. Unfortunately, it did not. When i line up the cable with the headphone (R,R) (L,L) I can hear sound out of the left side. When I alternate the cable with the headphone (R,L) (L,R) I hear sound out of the right side. Therefore, I conctacted Hifi Man and exchanged the crystalline cable for a new one and continue to have the same problem. Any advice>

What are you using for an audio source?

my computer, tablet, and cell phone. I can receive a small amount of sound out of the right ear (R,R) on the phone and tablet, but if I increase the volume the sounds becomes extremely grainy. When I switch the cable its becomes grainy on the left.
