Hello. I disassemblied the keyboard from a Lenovo G560, and on the back of keyboard there is a broken piece (2 cm around a screw). Till the disassembly, the keyboard was working. Now, it's not.
Could it be working because i haven't moved it till then and the 2 pieces were fitting perfectly, or does it have sth to do with the cable (didn't put it right).
EDIT/SOLVED: The problem was on the cable connection. The way i connected it wasn't good, need a bit more pressure to fit in well, so now that i did it, the keyboard works perfectly. As for the broken piece, it's only for the screw to be one with the keyboard, so the only bad is that with 1 screw less the keyboard is a bit more unstable but no functioning problem at all in the end.
