Problem with my ASUS laptop.... Please help.

My ASUS X450L wont turn on when i press the power button......It doesn't even show the green/orange light when i plug it in.... What should I do???

Get a new AC charging cable. Unless the power jack was somehow damaged, there should be some form of led signaling power to the unit when it's plugged in. Replacement cables can be found for 10-15 bucks online at a variety of source locations. If that fails to cure the issue, then there is a problem with the power jack, as even a faulty motherboard wouldn't fail to light the power led in almost all cases.

you won't get a signal(led light on) if the power adapter is dead.
