Question problem with pc and av receiver

I have a receiver connected to my pc gpu via hdmi so I can get spatial audio from gaming on my pc. I have a pc monitor connected directly to my pc gpu via displayport. I have a problem where the sound and video on my monitor intermittently disconnect for a few seconds. This doesn't happen often, about once an hour, but it can be disruptive especially in the middle of gaming in which I become unresponsive and can't see or hear anything. I don't think it's my pc as this also happens on my laptop connected to the reciever via hdmi for sound and usb-c displayport for video and I don't think it's the cables as the pc and laptop use different hdmi cables. Receiver is onkyo tx nr6100. Does this happen to anyone else using an av receiver connected to a pc?
