processor question, wrongly advertised?

so i bought a laptop from dick smith :http://www.dicksmith.com.au/acer-aspire-17-3-e5-771g-79pn-w8-1-notebook-dsau-xc0247.
and the processor was advertised as 3.1GHZ but under pc info it says its 2.0GHZ, was it advertised wrong? or is there something im missing

If you read the "Key features" carefully it says "up to 3.1 GHz":

"4th gen Intel® Core i7-4510U Processor, Dual Core (Up to 3.1GHz)"

It's your responsibility to specify that you want the 3.1 GHz model when you place your order.
