Professional Voice Manipulation software

Hi there.

I don't really know if this is a suitable question to ask on this forum or not,
but I thought I would ask just in case.

Are there any professional softwares for manipulating your voice?
e.g. lower/higher, younger/older so on.

I'm not talking about those free-to-use horrendous pieces of software spread throughout the internet for use with skype during prank calls.
I'm talking about a software that enables you to alter on a production level of quality.
