Can i edit .jpg files with some kind of program? Is it posible to do that without a program?

Solution

Well...MS Paint can do this.
Or any of a number of other, more involved applications.

Of course, anyone that cares to look can tell if that jpg has been altered, so...

"without a program" ?
No.

In simple terms, what are you actually trying to do? Explain it to me like I'm 5 years old.

Well, okay. I would like to edit a few files that are .jpg file type. Is it possible to do that? Can i go to like them and like change the word or something?

Alright, i'll try it out.

And is there a thing that i could like copy the word from .jpg file or no?

No.
A .jpg is a picture. Literally, a collection of dots.
A .txt, .doc...that is different. From those, you can copy 'a word'.

Is it possible to turn .jpg into .txt?

Maybe, if it is a well defined .jpg, through an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) application.

We still have no idea of what you are actually trying to do here.

Sometimes, if lucky, one can "change a word" in a picture file by just copy/paste of letters from other places. Again, this could be easy to detect. I would stop here since this looks like someone's trying to forge a document.
