Projector sound off

I have a HD HOME THEATER MULTIMEDIA LCD LED PROJECTOR and I have it all connected have picture but no sound from laptop or projector put a sound bar on projector the problem I think is the surround sound on projector is off and no matter what I try it won't go to the on . Any ideas of why surround won't go to on?

All the box says is Led Projector when it comes on it says what was typed above. the laptop is connected WITH H DMI cable and proctor to sound bar using the red,yellow,white male to female connectors. My problem I think is I can't get projector to turn surround to on position not sure why though.

Sound like you will need to get your audio directly from the laptop. You can connect the soundbar to the headphone jack. Make sure that is selected as your audio device.

Mine has no sound either. It says built in speakers but there’s no sound.. and I can’t get sound when I connect to external speakers ugghhh help me
