projector won't power

infocus lp750 projector. plugged in the red LED comes on showing its getting power, but it won't power on. Thought??

The red light just shows it is plugged into an active AC outlet. You could try removing and reinserting the lamp. If the lamp looks burned that could be bad. Most projectors will indicate a bad lamp. Most common failure in projectors is the power supply and lamp ballast board. This can also damage the lamp. Usually too expensive to repair.
