Promote Your LinkedIn Public Profile

If you have a LinkedIn account and you also play a leading role in your organization, or even if you own one, you might want to promote your LinkedIn profile on your personal blog, website, or forum in order to gain popularity and increase visibility.

In order to help you in the process of promoting your LinkedIn profile, LinkedIn allows you to create ‘badges’. Once a LinkedIn ‘badge’ is created, you can add it to your preferred location with the help of a code that LinkedIn generates when you complete the ‘badge’ creation process.

Here is how you can create a LinkedIn badge and get its code to promote your LinkedIn profile around the web:

■Using a web browser to sign in to your LinkedIn account.
■Once your profile’s Home page comes up, click the Profile menu from menu bar at the top.

■Once done, paste the code at your desired location such as your blog, online resume, or website to add your LinkedIn profile badge to the location in order to promote your LinkedIn public profile.
