Proprietary tablet programming

Have a Android tablet that is blocked from accessing wifi...can't transfer files from my sd card unless it's from an sd card bought from the provider of the tablet...how can I bypass this or unlock it?

I have never heard of a device only allowing for a SD card through the manufacturer. Also, I have yet to hear of a tablet being blocked from using WiFi by the tablets manufacturer.
