I'm going to be purchasing a laptop very soon (beginning of August), and I was debating whether or not I should buy a laptop from my local Best Buy/Walmart (no microcenter or Fry's here), or should I buy one online?
Any comments/experiences from the community here?

Solution
It depends on what kind of deal you can find between an internet store or an actual retail store. If you can find something at Best Buy, for example, check online to see if there is a better deal out there for the particular model that you are after. If not, there's no harm in buying it from the store.

well i like to go to the store to check things out-see if like how it looks/feels, then chick online to see if a better price is available...

Store = If you don't like it, for any reason, it goes back with no questions asked. End of story.

Online = better price - maybe...

Indeed. You can send a laptop or something that you buy online back, but if it isn't defective, you may have to may restocking fees and the shipping to send it back.
