ps3 cam intermittantly blurry on skype

When using Skype my ps3 cam is ok for say 1min then goes blurry and I need to reset it, this happens constantly

The camera has a sensor which tries to auto adjust but the only thing that you can control fully is the focus point by rotating the lense which clicks into two settings, very short distance or standard. Because it auto adjusts there isn't much you can do, but you can try changing where you are and the light levels. I personaly find that a bright lit scene works best but obviously not you in darkness and a bright white background but a generally well light area.
