Can I play my PS4 with a old tv ? And what input does it use ?

Cable boxes don't have an input you can connect any other source to.
What input you use depends on what inputs the old TV has.
You want an active converter to go from HDMI to Component video+audio or Composite video+audio. Use component video if you have that input. It will look much better than composite. A cable won't work.
