Hey there, Jesse!

Yes, you should be able to use the drive on your computer.
You'd just need the cabling required to mount the drive inside and, of course, a mounting bracket.
Since the drive is from your PS4 then it's 2.5" HDD in order to place it inside your rig, you'd need a a spacial caddy to hold the drive inside (regular PC drives are 3.5" so the drive bay inside is 3.5"). However, you should google those mounting brackets that will hold the PS4 drive inside your PC. :)
Here's a tutorial with pictures that might give you an idea how to proceed: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2411020,00.asp

Is that all i'd need to do?
No need to reformat it or anything like that?
Thanks :)

Surely you should reformat it, I can suggest you to use this tutorial for partitioning and formatting your HDD.

Once you've installed the HDD in the drive bay on your PC, go to Disk Management and delete the partition(s) on it.
Afterwards just create a new simple volume using the tutorial above! :)
