Two ways - either connect some speakers via the optical cable
(e.g. http/www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Z-906-Surround-Sound-Speakers/dp/B004MY4PU6 - which is the successor to the awesome Z5500 which are my speakers)
OR
thread the HDMI out of the PS4 to a dedicated amp, which will allow the video signal to pass through which can then be connected to your monitor.
You can then connect your speakers to your amp in whichever way is best.

Toslink adapter didn't work for me. A buddy of mine who sets up in home sound systems had what's called an hdmi audio extractor which worked for whatever reason. Thought I'd share
