PS4 Pro audio help

I've got a PS4 Pro that I've got hooked up to my Samsung 4k tv and I'm trying to hook it up to my stereo system. I've tried using an optical cable from the ps4 to the receiver and switched the settings in the ps4 to optical settings and I get nothing. Please help me out.

Had to switch my audio on my receiver to optical. DUH!
