Which is better please i am planning to get one for my birthday and can't decide on what to get portability is not a problem because if i get the ps4 it comes with GAEMS and if you ask why laptop and not desktop thats because i live currently in a dorm so if i moved out it won't be hard so which is better gaming wise plus it confuses me more cause the ps4 has exclusive games which is awesome like infamous and the order something

Well the laptop is better but the PS4 is 1/5 of the cost. What I would suggest is build a very small mini ITX pc that would be a compromise between the two as you don't need to much mobility if you are thinking of the PS4.

This is a sugestion, save cash by going for 8gb ram or an i5.

Well, the PS4 doesn't really "come" with games per se -- unless it's a "special edition" one that might have 1 or 2, you're going to have to pay to purchase or download your games, usually at $40-50 each.

The laptop will be more expensive, but will be more versatile. Games will cost about the same for the laptop as the console, but you can also use it to do your class assignments (instead of having to go to the campus computer labs), plus it's just easier for Internet surfing to use a PC than a console.

Thanks for the answer it did help me a bit but the problem is for me gamewise is the fps stability and the games coming out this year or in the future is hard on my laptop already i got a i5 with 2 gb nvidia geforce 610m and 12 gb ram and i can't play far cry 4 and it is aready slowing down abit for my study use plus the game i am looking for is batman arkham knight although the pc is more useful and can be used outside of playing specially my course is computer science and i can get cheaper games in steam so still confused on what is better LOL hahha

I'm still going to stick by the mini ITX desktop but out the 2 as you are doing computer science I would say that the laptop is better for you.

You should be okay for maybe 4 years on high and 2 on ultra I would say.
