PTKMF

My Toshiba Satellite A105 Laptop running Windows 7 gives me the error "PTKMF is compressed. Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart." This error comes after the BIOS but before the Windows booting period. Last time I was using it, I selected the 'compress disk to save space' option in the properties of my C: drive. It froze midway and I had to do a hard shut-down. I also tried installing Ubuntu Linux from disk, but it just shows the same screen. I'm out of ideas. Any Help?

i have two
reboot the pc hold down the "o" key untill you hear a series of beeps you will be prompted to confirm your intentions to perform a system recovery. select yes and this will return it to an "out of box state" you will loose everything you had but it will be like new.
