Question PUBG Lite launcher error

I'm had installed the PUBG lite launcher from here but it refuses to start.

Getting error- launcher updater error: 0x1600000005

Any help would be appreciated
Please help!

Any antivirus and firewall running?

i had exactly same issue here is how i fixed it
step 1 open task manager end anyitem which says pubglite
step 2 click on start search for add or remove programs then uninstall pubg lite
step 3 reinstall it
problem fixed
reinstalling without step 1 wont fix it i have tried it
