PX4 Headet via Bluetooth - Bad Sound Quality

Hi guys,

I got a Bluetooth 2.0 dongle so I could use my PX4's on my pc for chat programs like Ventrilo, Teamspeak, Skype etc when I'm not on my PC.

I can connect to the headset fine, but it installs as "Turtle Beach PX4 Hands-Free" (Which I'm not sure if right or not) and I can't change it from 1 channel, 16bit, 8000hz sound quality. This quality sounds horrendous through the headset, yet if I connect it to my phone it's perfect.

I can't find any drivers for my dongle other than what Window's install and I can't find any drivers/profiles for the PX4 Headset.

Does anyone have any experience with this Headset and connect to PC via Bluetooth? I've tried googling for hours and can't find anything useful at all.

Not an expert on this, but I believe this is due to your dongle being Bluetooth 2.0. The 2.0 standard is limited to data speeds of 3Mb/s, while the newest, 4.0, can exceed 24Mb/s. Faster speeds = better quality, at least in theory.
