By frozen, do you mean that the cursor (pointer on screen), is not moving? Or the mouse itself doesn't work?
Here are a few basics things to try:
-Restart your computer
-Unplug mouse, and plug it to another USB port
-Try that mouse with another computer
-Try another mouse with your computer
Also, I have a few questions..
Does it happen beginning with start-up?
Or, does happen after you use a certain program?
How often does it happen?
Have you done anything new to your computer?
How old is the mouse, and when did you start experiencing the problem?
Also, it makes sure that your anti-virus software is up to date.
