I have the following problem. I cannot understand how can I connect my professional soundcard which has one rca output (or any future-bought dac whith one rca output) to 4 independent self-powered speakers.
Is there any type of splitter, will I have quality loss? Are there any preampliffiers that output to powered speakers?
My goal is to achive ''surround'' sound for audio listening from 4 good-quality powered speakers and good-quality dac (i.e. benchmark). But all the dacs that I find output to 2 speakers, not 4, because the sound is supposed to be stereo, not surround.
I know that I can achieve surround sound by buying an av amplifier and 4 speakers, but I really want to have a good dac and good power amp because it makes great difference to my ears, and all av amps have dreadfull dacs and dreadfull power amps.
So my option is four good powered speakers and a good dac.
How can I achieve that?
