Querry on processor

I was using an intel i3 2100 3.10 ghz processor and i just replaced it with pentium g2020 and my pc didnt start .and kept on restarting, and it didnt stay on for even 2 seconds ,I dont understand the problem please help me out

You need to verify that your motherboard support t6he G2020. The motherboard manufacture provides a compatibility list on their website for the motherboard.
