Question about Asus Laptop

Hi, I just wanted to find out whether I would be able to replace the DVD drive with an adapter that would give me the option to replace it with an SSD. I just wanted to find out whether I would be able to do it b myself or if I would have to send it off to my manufacturers for them to do it for me. Would I be able to swap the HDD's place with the SSD, and put the HDD in the place with the DVD drive without disrupting the OS.
An answer would be very helpful

You could do it yourself but I think it would be easier to send it off to your manufacturers. Do you have the money to be able to do that?

I just phoned the manufacturers and unfortunately, if I open up my laptop to do this, I would void my warranty. They even said that they don't do what I asked them. A shame really. So then I decided to phone the company I bought my laptop off of and they said to just replace the man hard drive with the ssd and us the previous on as an external.
