Question about ATH-M40x

Does anyone know if these fit the ATH-M40x: http/www.amazon.com/Shure-HPAEC940-Replacement-Velour-Headphones/dp/B005OM06RG/ref=cm_cd_ql_qh_dp_t

They are comfirmed to work on the m50's however I'm not sure if the m50's are the same size as the m40x. Thank you in advance.

I think they should fit, I haven't compared them side to side but I've worn both and the ear pad size seems to be the same.
