Question about Battery life

!Hi all,
I just upgraded to a 9-cell battery for my Dell Laptop

what'll maximize the battery life (A / B);
A. if i keep it connected to the electricity (and disconnect it only when portability needed)
B. charge to a 100%, then disconnect the cable from the computer, and then charge again when it drops to 20%

Keep it connected...that's the way modern Lithium batteries are at their best...
