I was one of those hopeless nerds in line for the Droid the morning of the launch 😀 I've been playing with it non-stop since then. It's a great phone! The UI feels sleek and the phone is very responsive. Browsing the web is SO nice on this screen, and just everything about it is great so far. I loved how I started up the phone, typed in my Google login info and it synced everything up perfectly, and I was up and running in less than a minute. Definitely the best phone on Verizon right now!

I've heard battery life is rubbish. Is it true?

Early review of the Droid are very enticing. I'm definitely interested, but I'll let the early-adopters find all the bugs first and get the, more or less, fully debugged version.

While the moron commening about queues and then stating this is a usa did it in a douchebag way, he is correct. Americans do not "queue" they "form lines". While it is silly to point this out, it is using the correct terminology.

You can now continue your "no the iphone is better, no verizon is too expensive, no i am broke" rants.

Yep got it and love it however wish it had a better keyboard and that you did not have to take out the battery to get to the microSD card.
