Quick question about 46-48 inch TVs

I'm planning to get a new TV tomorrow and got two selected out.
Which one would you get?

Samsung 48'' H6200
LG 47'' LB6300

Samsung model has 3D, don't really care about that, the one without 3D is 40€ cheaper 46'' H6203 which is also in consideration.

Will you be using this as a PC monitor too? or just for watching TV? they both do 120hz, and i generally prefer Samsung panels. Can you see both before you buy, as in to compare side by side?

And no, I can't compare them side by side.
However, I compared more expensive LG and Samsung models and saw basically no difference.

if the LG is cheaper just go with it, for non monitor use you wont notice a difference (sitting some feet away i imagine)

TV will be mounted on the wall around 8-10 feet from couch.
If anybody else has opinions, then I would be glad to hear them.

I wanted to ask one more thing, is it true that 3D TVs have slightly better picture quality even in 2D?
