Quick question regarding sleep mode.

If I put my laptop in sleep mode and leave the AC adapted plugged in the wall, will the computer drain power from the CMOS battery or from the AC adapter? The laptop battery is not plugged in, just the AC adapter.

The laptop will constantly draw s power from the CMOS battery, regardless of its state. In sleep mode, it will draw power from the AC adapter, though it will be a very small amount.
