Radeon 9700

I just got Radeon 9700 and it works normally with the drivers that came with the card, but after installing catalyst 3.1 all the graphics became slow and games etc. didn't detect my radeon. Installing directx 9 didn't help. What could be the problem? I have WinXP, ASUS A7A266, XP 1800+ and powersupply 350W.

Try installing ATI Catalyst 9.11, whicj is the latest version for 9700 series, it'll fix you problem.

PS: Fully uninstall the older version of catalyst & other regarding drivers, before installing newer version!
