Ram problem in computer

My computer 1.86 GHz
Core 2 duo
Nvida gt 520
Computer not able to run on 4 GB ram it freezes on nvida corporation black screen at start up before I had 2 GB it was running successfully
Windows 7 32 bit
Plz help me what should I do

Just reading it points twards that, it works fine on 2gb and when you try to increase it doesn't corporate

so you don't need spec to diagnose a problem, interesting.

Zuleus, it could also be that the ram is not compatible with the motherboard.
