Random lines and black spot on my screen

Earlier today, my laptop just out of nowhere got this set of lines on the left side that appear to be sucking in a part of the screen, and there is a random black dot that sits at the bottom left corner of the screen. It is really annoying the heck out of me.

Although it is highly unlikely, the reason for the issue may be due to corrupt display driver. You can try re-installing the display driver or restoring the Windows to an earlier restore point to give it a shot. (Instructions to restore Windows to a restore point can be found here.)

If the issue remains unresolved, I am afraid you may have to get your laptop screen replaced.
