Razer Kraken Chroma 7.1 wont play youtube at a normal sound level.

It was fine before. I only use them sparingly, I updated chroma to see if that would fix it, but no. it plays extremely loudly normally in windows media player

Have you tried the sound mixer in windows? sometimes that gets knocked down pretty low.

Hi, yes tried and everything is normal. I know that it was fine before, i haven't used them in 2 weeks. But have had similar problem in the past, but this eventually fixed itself . Just to give u an idea. i have to put this headset at 50% volume level but then also put windows media play below halfway and even then its far too loud but its the complete opposite in 'YouTube and 'Video daily Motion' and any other online video. I have just in the middle of writing this inspected 'IE' browser and it plays normally in this. There is something in chrome'Browser that is making this headset extremely low. Would love to find out whats causing it, because I prefer chrome to any other browser
