Razer Kraken Pro 2012 Vs Razer Kraken Pro 2015

I just bought the Razer Kraken Pro 2012 from target, i didn't realize that the Razer Kraken Pro 2015 is also avaliable, i bought the 2012 edition for $68.99 and it could just be me because i had a crap headset but its hard to hear vocals stock config (i fine tuned the audio so its fixed) but is it worth $79.99 for the 2015 because you make a new product to update and fix issues with the old one, which one key factor is the mic mute switch.

Pretty sure the only difference are the inline mic controls. Best if you can return your old ones, or sell them, then get the new ones.
