My dog recently chewed the end off of my audio splitter cable that came with my Kraken Pro headset, and there are currently no replacements from Razer in stock. Until I find a nice replacement, is there any way I can use the headset's mic and still hear my computer without a splitter?

The Razer Kraken headset uses a 4 position audio connection. If you wish to recreate a cable the works in the same fashion as the original you can purchase theses 2 products:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16886944038

This is of course more expensive then what Razer is saying a replacement cable will cost but these cables are much higher quality and will take more abuse then the replacement.

From what I've seen above, they don't answer the question, they only say you have to buy another splitter. In answer to the question, yes, you can use the Razer Kraken pro mic without the splitter. I've used it with my HTC phone (Android 4.4-5.0) and my laptop (Asus). I am not sure about a desktop, but I know it works with the phone and laptop.

Just out of curiosity, does your laptop only have 1 jack? I own a Sony VAIO Pro 13" Ultrabook and the one audio jack I have shows a headset (rather than a just headphone or mic) so I assume it allows both output and input sound. I'm thinking of getting the Razer Kraken Pro and will be using it for my PS4, iPhone 5 and my laptop. Just wondering if you think it might work.
