Razer Megalodon (LEDs failed, static, audio and mic cutting out)

Bought the headset roughly a year ago, mic is very very sensitive (or just terrible?) even when the Mic Sensitivity function is on 0. The mic volume is on 15 in Mic Properties/Levels,
it's been exactly 1 year 3 months since I bought the headset so the warranty isn't valid, is there any possible way to fix these problems? (tried both front and back ports, USB 2.0)

Probably not, unless you're up to some soldering or wire repair?
