Razer Tiamat 7.1 Sound Playing only out of One Driver

Hey Guys

So I bought a Razer Tiamat 7.1 Headset from a while back (Here http/www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007CS9WYI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) I've got a Realteck High Def 5.1 Audio Sound card on my computer. So I bought an external 7.1 Sound card its a cheaper one (Here http/www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004HXGJ3S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) However when I get everything plugged in to the external sound card and turn the 7.1 on I only get sound from the front drivers. Is anyone aware of adjustments that I missing or anything?

Have you tried a multichannel source? If you're using a stereo source (most music is stereo and many games are set to stereo by default), then you will only get sound out of the front 2 drivers.
