Razer Tiamat Overhead Brace has broken

My Razer Tiamat's overhead brace has snapped some time ago and I've used cellotape and ducttape as a temporary fix but it gets real messy and only lasts a month. What hardcore DIY fix can I do to sort this out? http://i.imgur.com/A5XbQOJ.jpg

if it is made out of plastic simply melt it and stick the two parts together. If you want to give it more of a <<professional look>> i could give you specific advice about the temperatures you are going to aim for, if you have a decent enough infrared thermometer. After being done with it you could try taking it apart , then sanding it and painting it from the ground up to give a color of your choice

It's not that simple there is a wire running through one of the plastic bits. That and I don't even have plastic melting equipment i think.....

The wire is not an issue because even if the shielding melts, the temperature will not be high enough to melt the copper wire itself. Another, less pleasing to the eye option would be to place a thin metal stripe at the breaking point and attach it to the sides with zip ties almost forming an old school splint
