Really big laptop problem

Hello my half year old laptop starts to lag in all my games. In most games it stays at 60 fps, and my laptop was sent to repair for overheating for about a month ago. Thermal paste was replaced and worked fine for one day. First time i used my laptop, it was pretty good with no problems, but it the lag started in all games for about 2 months ago. I find this pretty annoying and it's not even a year old yet. I have also scanned my system with malwarebytes, avast and ccleaner.

Is it overheating? My antivirus, or my laptop it self?

Specs-

CPU Intel 4210U 1.7GHz (With turbo boost to 2.7GHz and was bought like that)

GPU Nvidia Geforce 940M 2GB VRAM

RAM 8GB DDR4

SSD 256GB

Antivirus - Avast

Please help!

Monitor your temperatures and compare them to others with same specs to see if yours are higher than normal. Also update graphic drivers to see if that helps.

I'll have the temperatures at 60 degrees in games.
