I always used to use Realtek and Audacity to record stuff. Recently, I had to reformat my computer, and had to download Realtek again. But now, I'm facing a problem.
In the "Microphone" tab, even if I choose the "Noise Suppression" option, it doesn't seem to make any difference. It ALWAYS used to work before. I know that if I DON'T choose the noise suppression option, the quality gets better, but I don't want those noises, so I choose that option. But after reformatting my computer, it seems like choosing or not choosing that option is the same thing. The noise is always there. What should I do?

Make sure that you have downloaded the latest version of all the programs and drivers that used to be associated with that feature. If you have done so, make sure they are fully updated. Failing that, uninstall the feature completely and delete it from your registry and try again. If that still does not work, I might suggest finding another program.
