Rear speakers not working.

hey guys,
here is my problem: I got a yamaha audio system at home(RX-V350) with surround speakers. when I use the cd player everything works just fine, but if I use a 3.5mm to rca cable to play music I got on my phone the rear speakers stop working. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Most surround receivers will remember a different surround mode for each input so they have to be set for each input. Try a different surround mode on the input you have your phone connected to.
