reason of my problem

i have dell laptop..nd my problem is .my laptop battery is not charge upto 50 %.recently i replace my battery...this problem comes in my newly repleced battery....plz...tell me what is the reason of this problem and how i solve this problem n

Try discharging the battery completely (until laptop turns off) and then plug in the adapter into the laptop and let it charge all day (while laptop is off).
