Recommended Thermal Compound/Paste and Cooling pad for laptop?

Hey guys, so yeah I have been experiencing heat issues with my laptop and I need opinions/recommendations for a good thermal compound/paste(I think its paste has been worn off) and a cooling pad. I am planning to buy the Cooler Master EFX1-TG15 Extreme Fusion X1. Is it nice? If you guys have better suggestions please do comment and is DeepCool a good brand for cooling pads? Does anyone also know how long it takes for the thermal paste to wear out?

My laptop is an MSI GE60 btw

One of the best articles for thermal paste, keep note that they are all very close, the results, and I always give them +/-2°C.
Personally I would recommend Coolaboratory Ultra oppose to pro, easier to apply in my opinion. However it is very hard to apply and expensive, trust me.
